Many causes contributed to the Revolutionary War. One of the causes of that war was the estblishment of the Proclamation of 1763. Other causes were the establishment of taxing acts, like the Stamp Act and the Declaratory Act. Riots were also cases of the Revolutionary War, like the Boston Massacre. A more peaceful riot, the Boston Tea Party, also took place, which left its mark in history. To prevent complete British control, the colonists created the First Continental Congress, which eventually led to the Second Continental Congress.

Documents, like Common Sense also contributed. A more important document, the Declaration of Independence was a major contributor. 

Once tensions were high enough, the battles began. The first battle, which was accidental, the the Battle of Lexington Green.
