People of the Revolutionary War

Many prominent people contributed to the American Revolution. One of those people was King George III. Another person was Benjamin Franklin, who was in favor of helping America. The Sons of Liberty were a prominent part of the Revolutionary War, with their leader being Samuel Adams. Samuel Adams' cousin, John Adams, also played an important part.
Many important documents contributed to the American Revolution, and they all had authors. One important author was Thomas Paine, who wrote Common Sense. Another important author was Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the document that demanded freedom for America.
Generals were a major part. Some major generals were George Washington, William Howe, John Burgoyne, and Benedict Arnold.
